Resist Rigidity

In my last post I suggested that content presented first is more easily grasped and retained than equally difficult content presented later in the same sequence.

But, there is an exception. When content is more meaningful, or interesting to the learner, it will be more easily learned and remembered regardless of when it is presented in a sequence.

Most home school tips of the week presented on this blog should be considered generalizations in which exceptions must be recognized and acknowledged. As home schoolers, we need to resist being rigid in our schedule and the way we deliver our content.

Curt Bumcrot, MRE January is the month we promote our Diploma Program and Privately Developed Plan Program. It’s also the month we extend our deepest enrollment discount to existing families. This year we’re inviting new families to take advantage of this discount too. Click Here to learn how to save $50.00 per student. But you’ll need to act now – this offer will not be repeated!
