Dear Classes at Basic Skills Family,
Attached is the schedule for the 2010-2011 Basic Skills classes. It reflects your responses to the questionnaire we sent out in January, as well as your emails and phone calls. While scheduling conflicts may, of course, be unavoidable, thanks to your input they have been minimized.
*** Please note, if you picked up a packet at Basic Skills there were a few errors in the initial Course Schedule. Please refer to this new Course Schedule for clarification.
Please follow the four-step process for re-enrollment:
1. Make sure you are current in all class payments to teachers and to Basic Skills. This first step is necessary for your application to be processed.
2. Read (parents and students) the attached Student Standards and Procedures.
3. Complete the attached application for re-enrollment.
4. Submit the application along with the discounted administration fee of $115.00 per family (goes up to $150.00 on July 15th).
Check, credit, or debit card are all acceptable means of payment. If you wish to pay by credit or debit card, you may do so by phone by contacting our front office or by going online to our website at www.basicskills.net. To pay online, simply go to the bottom right hand side of our home page and click the make a payment button.
Once we receive your payment and re-enrollment application, we will send you the teacher contact list and class enrollment forms for you to complete. You are officially enrolled in a class once the teacher receives your class enrollment form with the material’s fee and 10% deposit. Some classes have limited enrollment due to size restrictions, and all are on a first-come, first-serve basis. Enrollment at this time is strongly encouraged to insure getting the classes you want.
Finally, please be sure to take a look at the information regarding our Individualized Learning Program, Friday School, and our new Elementary and Middle School Programs. They may also meet your family’s needs, or the needs of someone you know. As a thank you, we are giving a $75.00 Fred Meyer gift card for any referral who signs up for either the ILP or Elementary and Middle School Program.
