INDIVIDUALIZED LEARNING PROGRAM (ILP)
For Successful Academic Achievement

T he ILP is a program designed for students 2nd through 8th grade. It utilizes an integrated and innovative
curriculum, small class size and a low student to teacher ratio enables students to experience academic success.

The fundamental areas of learning include:

• Academic achievement: reading, writing and mathematical skills
• Critical thinking, reasoning and problem solving
• Organization and study skills
• Perceptual and motor skills
• Motivation and goal attainment
• Memory, attention and concentration
• Creativity and self-expression
• Multi-sensory phonics program (Orton- Gillingham)

An individual instructional plan is designed to maximize each student’s learning. Through classroom and small group interactive hands on multisensory instruction, all children will be given the opportunity to achieve their academic potential.

Our Individualized Program is enhanced by:
• Developing Christian character
• Small group tutorials
• Community service projects
• Low student to teacher ratio

Afternoon activities include:
Science, Social Studies, Sign Language, Conversational Spanish, Art, Drama, and Physical Education.

Our main instructor:
Jo Edwards holds both BA and MS Ed. degrees in special education and is a licensed teacher. In addition to home schooling her children through high school, she has taught in public school and eleven years at a small Christian school. Her specialty is teaching in a multi-age classroom that includes students with special needs.

Cost:
$100 registration fee (non-refundable)
$250 book and material fee
$495 monthly tuition for a 4 day a week plan
$250 monthly tuition for a 2 day a week plan
$250 monthly tuition for second child (4 day a week plan)

Class will meet Monday-Thursday 9:00-3:00.

Additional fee of $315.00 per year will be added for students currently on a PDP, IEP or meeting our special needs criteria. Click here for application forms.
