BECOMING AN EFFECTIVE WRITER PROGRAM

Frustrated with evaluating your student’s writing?  Is the answer key you’re using inadequate?  You may be saying to yourself, “ What answer key?”  And, of course, no such key exists because good writing is a combination of structure and art, and effective writers employ both.

Take the pressure off yourself and let Basic Skills assist your student in learning the fundamentals of expository writing.  Utilizing Frode Jensen’s popular textbook, Format Writing, your student will receive personalized guidance, written evaluations and phone conferencing from one of our writing teachers.  For a limited time we are offering  a complimentary evaluation  of your student’s writing (one to five paragraphs) in which you will receive both a written evaluation and a brief phone conference where you can discuss the strengths and areas needing improvement.  This way you can experience, at no cost to you, an introduction to our Becoming An Effective Writer Program to see if it’s a good fit for your student.
