Crossword Grammar Instructions

Student Instructions:

Crossword Puzzle: Solve crossword puzzle. If you can’t determine a word for a clue, you may refer to the Word Bank for help.

Story: Complete the Velcro story with the words you used to solve the crossword puzzle.

Patterned Writing: Do the Patterned Writing exercise.

Parent Instructions:

Crossword Puzzle: Use the answer key to correct the crossword puzzle. If your student has trouble determining a word for a crossword clue, you may wish to allow him access to the Word Bank.

Story: Use the answer key to correct the story. Keep in mind that words may function as different parts of speech depending upon usage. Story context will help reinforce usage as the student follows the clues.

Patterned Writing: The answer provided is an example of many possible “right answers” your student may submit. Their answer must follow the order.
